On September 11th, 2001 our world changed forever. From the ashes of that singular event, a pouring out of hearts, not just in America, but all over the world, brought out the best in each of us. This was nowhere more apparent than at blood services across our nation and around the world.

This privacy-protected Internet accessed database websystem was, at the time of the disaster, still in its testing stages. It is now here for use by friends of America and blood services everywhere, confirming the fact that there is SOMETHING EVERYONE CAN DO. Please POST your email address and blood-type, if known, and let your local blood service contact you when your blood is needed.

Even if you are one of the four out of ten people who cannot donate blood, there is something everyone can do to help carry the blood banner. By posting your email address and, if desired, telling a little about yourself and corresponding with others in your community through this non-profit site, you can help draw attention to the continuing need for blood in your local community.
